"Rachel's expertise would be an incredibly valuable asset for Ward 7, and for all of Somerville... She is hard-working and authentically cares about people, especially those who have little voice in government."
- State Representative Carl Sciortino, Somerville Journal, The Powderhouse
There isn't "another candidate... who can top Rachel when it comes to selfless dedication to serving in the public interest while also possessing the kind of political and legislative skills that Rachel has honed in her years of experience working in the trenches of community organizing, as well as in halls of government."
- Ken Brociner, "Less than three weeks to go," Somerville Journal, October 18, 2007, Pg. 6.

WELCOME to my website!
Here you will find information about me, Somerville's Ward 7, and my plans to involve all residents in the local decision-making process.
I am running for Ward 7 Alderman because I care about keeping Somerville affordable for homeowners and renters, strengthening our schools, and creating more open space as our city makes important decisions about public transit expansion and redevelopment.
I believe that we must make city government more open and accessible so that residents have more opportunities to help shape the future of Somerville.
- Rachel Heller
